4M Ranch
Facilities

The 4M Ranch is owned and operated by Jim and Heidie Maikranz, and is located outside of Rochelle, Texas in McCulloch County. Established in 1993, with the purchase of a little over one thousand acres in the Heart of the Texas Hill Country, the 4M Ranch land contains rolling hills and mineral-filled bottom lands. Continuous improvements to the Equine Operation’s Facilities have helped make the 4M Ranch a world-class thoroughbred operation. The facilities now include:
Pastures
300 acres of fenced pastures, separated into 13 paddocks ranging from 5 to 35 acres.

Two of the main mare pastures have access to the 50-acre lake.

Each pasture has its own run-in shed and individual feeding stalls for secure and accurate feeding.

Twelve 100' x 100' individual mini paddocks for special needs such as injury, lay-ups etc.

Most of the twelve have their own run-in sheds; all have separate feeding area.
Barns
Two Barns:

A ten stall, open-air barn with two 12x 24 foaling stalls.

A fifteen stall, open air barn.

Stalls measure 12' x 12' for equine comfort and safety

All stalls are sky-lighted, with automatic fly-spray system and overhead fans
